Xplor Recreation and ActiveXchange launch Xplor Community to deliver smarter insights for facilities, clubs and councils

Xplor Recreation ANZ and ActiveXchange have launched the Xplor Community, giving facilities, clubs and councils access to powerful data-driven insights that support growth, efficiency and community impact.

By combining Xplor’s trusted member management system with ActiveXchange’s data intelligence on local communities, Xplor Community empowers leisure and recreation providers to make more informed decisions, reduce risk and unlock new avenues for revenue and growth.

ActiveXchange connects registration data to community data so organisations are not operating in isolation. Through Xplor Community, clients can access ActiveXchange’s data intelligence to help answer critical questions, such as:

  • Where is there unmet demand and growth potential?
More targeted and segmented marketing budgets can generate 760% more leads.
  • How can timetables, programs and services be optimised to increase engagement?
Members who attend regular classes stay for 4.36 more months (around $218 extra per member).
  • What is the social value being generated through member participation?
The average member who is more active and healthy generates community savings of approx $500 per year.
  • How can we evidence community reach and impact to strengthen funding and stakeholder support?
Demonstrating potential and reach across all parts of the community provides a stronger case for continued investment.

These insights translate into:

  • Actionable intelligence – see what’s happening now, predict what’s next and act strategically.
  • Smarter resource allocation – from timetables to marketing budgets, focusing effort where it delivers the most value, leveraging the latest proven market insights and solutions.
  • Measurable impact – from maximising social value to evidencing equity of access and inclusion.

Creating this fully integrated offering with Xplor will enable a large number of facilities across Australia and New Zealand to do more with data. We’re moving into a world where clients should be able to unlock far more value from data, and where integrations and joined up ecosystems are readily available.

At ActiveXchange we’ve been focused on building the technology and investing into the most relevant community datasets to efficiently transform registration and participation data into powerful yet simple-to-use insights. Xplor Community is designed to help all Xplor clients to better focus resources, connect with key partners, and ultimately reach further.

Xplor Community is about helping our clients unlock the power of data so they can focus on what matters most - creating meaningful experiences for their customers and communities. By bringing together Xplor Recreation’s technology and ActiveXchange’s insights, we’re giving our clients the tools to make smarter and more confident decisions.
