ActiveXchange, which connects over 10 million first-party records across 50,000+ venues and 1,000+ partners globally, has appointed Pat Gannon as General Manager, Asia Pacific.
Pat joins ActiveXchange from rebel, where he led sponsorships and events delivering large-scale campaigns that drove both participation and commercial growth. He brings close to two decades of experience across the sports industry, spanning grassroots participation, commercial partnerships, retail and marketing.
In the role, Pat will lead ActiveXchange’s commercial growth across the APAC region, spearheading AX Connect, a participation-led media network that enables brands and agencies to reach active consumers through real-world behavioural data. By moving beyond traditional interest-based targeting, AX Connect delivers more precise, high-value audiences which are built on genuine participation and activity.
For sports organisations and recreation facilities, AX Connect also opens up a new commercial channel, attracting brand investment that flows directly back into the clubs, facilities and programs that make those audiences possible. This initiative complements ActiveXchange’s broader growth intelligence services.
With a career built on connecting sports with commercial partners at scale, Pat is ideally placed to bring that capability to market across Asia Pacific.
Pat Gannon said: “Having spent my career across multiple areas of the sports industry, the opportunity to help shape how participation is understood through data was a natural next step. I’m excited to join ActiveXchange at a time when better insights have the power to drive stronger outcomes for participants, sporting organisations, partners and communities alike.”
